2016 Cuban Finals: Ciego de Avila Tigers won the 2015-2016 Cuban Season

After rain forced the cancellation of game six on Saturday the two teams played a double header today to determine the Cuban champion.

Ciego had won the first three but Pinar went on to win game six 7-3 to even the series at 3-3.

Pinar took it to a game seven by erupting for five runs in the first inning in game number six.

Yosvani Torres pitched seven innings of three run ball to hold up the lead.

He yielded to Livan Moinelo who worked the last two innings to close out the victory. Guillermo Aviles went deep with a solo blast in a losing cause for Ciego.

In game number seven, Ciego finally pulled the fourth game out, getting seven shutout innings from Dachel Duquesne.

The Tigres closer Yunier Cano retired all six hitters he faced to preserve the shutout.
