The Dodgers aren't ready to give up on Pagés as a regular player, but he's probably on a tighter leash after posting a .118/.268/.147 slash line with a 34.1 percent strikeout rate in his first 41 plate appearances. In addition, although defensive metrics aren't harsh on his performance in center field, he frequently appears awkward.
