Raisel Iglesias secured the last two outs on Tuesday against the Mets, earning his ninth save.

Raisel Iglesias earned the save in Tuesday's 7-4 victory over the Mets, giving up one hit and recording the final two outs while striking out one. This was Iglesias' first save chance since he allowed three runs on June 5, and it marked his first successful save since May 16. Originally, this wasn't expected to be a save situation, but Enyel De Los Santos ran into trouble in a 7-3 game in the ninth inning, surrendering hits to two of the three batters he faced. Iglesias entered the game, allowing an RBI double with two outs before Francisco Lindor grounded out to conclude the game. Iglesias has now achieved six consecutive scoreless appearances with a 5:0 K:BB ratio. Throughout the 2025 season, Iglesias has pitched 28 2/3 innings over 31 games, maintaining a 5.65 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. With 30 strikeouts, his K/9 is 9.4, contributing four wins to Atlanta's campaign.

Yandy Díaz recorded three hits in the game against the Royals on Tuesday.

Yandy Díaz went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and a walk in Tuesday's victory over the Royals. Díaz smashed his first two hits of the night. The first left his bat at a season-high 114.0 mph, and the second equaled his previous season high of 113.4 mph. The third, however, was 71 mph and hit straight into the ground. He's been on an incredible streak lately, achieving multiple hits in six consecutive games and 11 times during his current 14-game hitting streak. In that period, he's gone 29-for-60 (.483), boosting his season slash line to .289/.338/.470 with 29 extra-base hits and 36 runs scored.

On Tuesday, Luis Robert Jr. hit his eighth home run of the season.

The 27-year-old outfielder launched a 1-0 slider from right-hander Ryne Nelson for a 357-foot (101.7 mph EV) solo home run in the second inning, tying the game at one run each. This was his only hit in four at-bats that night. Since June 17, Luis Robert has managed just three hits in 27 at-bats, with two of those being solo home runs. On a brighter note, Robert did not strike out on Tuesday night and has a 3:3 BB:K ratio over his last four games.

He remains stuck in a dreadful season at the plate, posting a disappointing .185/.270/.313 with eight home runs, 32 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases.

Andy Pagés records two hits in a 9-7 victory against the Rockies.

In the Dodgers' 9-7 triumph over the Rockies, Andy Pagés contributed with 2 hits, including a double, an RBI, and a run scored. Pagés played a key role in the Dodgers' victory with his two hits, featuring his 13th double of the season. He added an RBI and scored once, bringing his total to 53 RBIs for the 2025 season. Over his last five games, Pagés has batted .421 (8-for-19), with two home runs and five RBIs. His season average is now .294, with an OPS of .845, establishing him as a reliable offensive force for the Dodgers this year and as the top Cuban player this season.

Aroldis Chapman kept the Angels from scoring.

Aroldis Chapman pitched in a non-save situation on Tuesday in a 3-2 extra-innings loss to the Angels. Chapman delivered 20 pitches, with 14 being strikes, allowed an infield hit to Mike Trout on weak contact, and issued one walk. He struck out three batters, and reduced his ERA to 1.36 for the year, with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 48:10 over 33 innings.

Yariel Rodríguez concedes a run in the win.

In the Blue Jays' 10-6 victory over the Guardians on Tuesday, Yariel Rodríguez took the mound in the ninth inning with a five-run advantage. He surrendered a home run with two outs but also recorded a strikeout. This was the first run he allowed in his last six appearances. He currently holds a 2.77 ERA over 32 games and 39 innings, with a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 37:12.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. propels Diamondbacks to victory over White Sox.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. made an impact with a double and a stolen base as the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Chicago White Sox 4-1. In this victory, Gurriel Jr. increased his season total to 15 doubles and recorded his seventh stolen base. This season, he is slashing .257/.299/.423. In his last 10 games, he has achieved a .263 batting average with 10 hits and three RBIs.

Miguel Vargas and Edgar Quero hitless on Tuesday.

Miguel Vargas and Edgar Quero combined to go 0-for-8 with 3 strikeouts in the defeat of White Sox 4-1 against D-backs on Tuesday. Vargas went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts while Quero had one strikeout. Vargas is on a streak of 0-for-8 in its last two games while Quero has gone 1-for-15 in its last 5 games with 6 strikeouts.

The Cardinals have designated INF/OF José Barrero for assignment.

José Barrero has been removed from St. Louis’ bench lineup to accommodate the newly acquired utility player Garrett Hampson, following Barrero's performance of hitting .138 (4-for-29) with one home run over 22 games. The 27-year-old's ability to play multiple positions defensively may make him an attractive option for other teams as a potential waiver wire pickup.

Yordan Álvarez has advanced to practicing with a batting tee.

It's promising to see Yordan back to hitting after being in a holding pattern due to a small fracture in his right hand. The 27-year-old player has been on the injured list since early May and still lacks an official return date.

The Astros moved OF Pedro León to the 60-day injured list.

This is simply a procedural action to open up a position on Houston's 40-man roster. The 27-year-old outfielder has been sidelined all season due to a left knee sprain and recently re-injured it during his minor league rehab assignment.

Jorge Soler placed on 10-day injured list due to back injury.

Jorge Soler is sidelined due to lower back inflammation and is currently on the 10-day injured list, with a projected return in early July. This season, Soler has participated in 67 games for the Los Angeles Angels. He has a batting average of .207 and an on-base percentage of .278. Soler has hit 8 home runs and 10 doubles, accumulating 26 RBIs and 79 strikeouts. In his last 10 games, Soler faced difficulties, posting a batting average of .143 and an OPS of .332. However, over the past 15 games, his performance has slightly improved, achieving a .170 batting average with 5 RBIs.

The Reds sent RHP Yosver Zulueta to Triple-A Louisville.

Yosver Zulueta didn't pitch during his two-day tenure with the Reds. This season, he has a 5.33 ERA and a 29/17 K/BB ratio over 25 1/3 innings for Louisville.
