Raisel Iglesias spun a perfect ninth inning Thursday, preserving a three-run lead against the Red Sox to collect his 12th save of the season.

It was a much-needed bounce-back for Iglesias after an ugly blown save last weekend against the Phillies. He struck out Franchy Cordero, got Jackie Bradley Jr. to line out to right field and whiffed Bobby Dalbec to end the contest. The 32-year-old righty has converted 12 of his 14 save opportunities this season while posting a 4.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 28:4 K:BB across 20.1 innings.

Aroldis Chapman (Achilles) will throw a bullpen on Saturday.

Chapman was able to play catch on Tuesday for the first time since being placed on the injured list with tendinitis in his Achilles on May 24. The left-hander will almost assuredly need a rehab appearance or two before he's able to able to return to the Yankees, and while there's no timetable for when he'll be able to do so, the bullpen session will be a big first step for the southpaw. There's also the question as to what role he'll return to, as Clay Holmes has been sensational in Chapman's absence.

White Sox' Luis Robert and José Abreu: No much at-bat on Thursday night.

Luis Robert went 1-for-5 with a run scored while Abreu was 0-for-2, walked three times, had a strikeout, and scored two runs, in an 11-9 loss to the Dodgers on Thursday night. Luis Robert BA for the season is .281 while Abreu, who is improving every day, has a slash line of .253/.349/.414 with 7 HR and 23 RBI and during his last 15 games is slashing .370/.485/.611 with 3 HR, 10 walks, and 6 RBI.

Nationals' Yadiel Hernández: Added to Thursday's lineup. Hernández was added to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins. The 34-year-old was initially slated to get a day off against left-hander Trevor Rogers on Thursday, but he was added to the lineup since Nelson Cruz was a late scratch. Hernández served as the designated hitter and batted sixth, but the Cuban outfielder continues struggling and went 0-for-4 lowering his BA to .265 for the year.

Twins' Yennier Cano: Another excellent inning against the Yankees.

Yennier Cano saw action against the Yankees for the second time this week. The RHP threw one inning on Thursday in a 10-7 loss to New York. Cano struck out two and used 13 pitches, 8 of them for strikes. He lowered his ERA to 9.26 and during the 3-game series he went twice with 2 1/3, two walks, and three strikeouts. This is good news for the Cuban native that is trying to stay in the Twins bullpen for as long as possible this year.

Marlins' Jorge Soler: Retreated to bench Thursday. Soler didn't start Thursday against the Nationals. Soler went 4-for-7 with a homer, a double, two RBI, a walk, and a strikeout over the last two games and will be out of the lineup Thursday for the first time since May 22.

Rockies' Jose Iglesias: Not in Thursday's lineup. Iglesias didn't start Thursday against the Giants. Iglesias got a day off after he went 1-for-8 with a run and a strikeout over the last two games.

White Sox's Yoán Moncada: Didn't start on Thursday. Moncada did not start on Thursday's contest against the Dodgers. Moncada got a breather after starting the first two games of the series, going 1-for-7 in those contests. Late in the game, he was added to protect the third base and walked in his only PA.
