Adolis García hit a home run and brought in three runs, contributing to the Rangers' 11-4 victory over the Angels on Thursday.

Adolis García had a strong performance, going 2-for-5 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, and scoring two runs in Thursday's 11-4 victory over the Angels. García hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning, solidifying the blowout win by extending the lead to 11-3. The 32-year-old also contributed with an RBI single, bringing his season total to 53. Garcia has maintained a hitting streak for six consecutive games and has hit safely in nine of his last 10 appearances. Although the outfielder is not known for consistent hitting, he excels in power and run production. This season, he's batting .231 with a .665 OPS, 11 home runs, 53 RBIs, 32 runs scored, 19 doubles, and nine stolen bases over 89 games. Adolis is also involved in trade rumors, and while his performance hasn't been stellar over the past year and a half, his talent suggests he can still deliver impressive numbers.

Aroldis Chapman secured his 16th save on Thursday by fanning two batters in a scoreless ninth inning against the Rays.

Aroldis Chapman secured the save in Thursday's 4-3 victory over the Rays, giving up one hit in a scoreless ninth inning and striking out two batters. The experienced left-hander continues to excel as Boston's closer in 2025, having successfully converted 16 of his 17 save chances. Moreover, Chapman hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 16 innings. This year, Chapman is heading to the All-Star Game for the first time since 2021, marking his eighth appearance overall. His ERA has dropped to 1.22 after Thursday's night, and with his contract set to expire at the end of the year, he could be the most sought-after reliever at the trade deadline, if the Red Sox decide to make him available.

Adrián Morejón clinches victory for the Padres.

Adrián Morejón secured the victory for the Padres in a close 4-3 match against the Diamondbacks, pitching 1 1/3 innings and striking out two batters. He got out of a tight spot in the fifth inning by getting Eugenio Suárez to pop up to first base, leaving two runners on and two outs. This marked his seventh win of the season. He allowed one hit and one walk. Following this performance, Morejón's ERA stays at a neat 1.71 over 42 innings this season. His WHIP is 0.83, highlighting his skill in effectively limiting baserunners.

José Iglesias' pair of hits lead Padres to victory over D-backs.

In the Padres' 4-3 win against the D-backs, José Iglesias contributed with two hits in four at-bats. Although he didn't hit any extra-base hits, Iglesias maintained a .229 batting average for the season. His strikeout in this game was his 35th of the year. Recently, Iglesias has shown a .375 average over the last three games, a significant improvement from his .250 average over the last five games. This season, he has accumulated 40 hits in 175 at-bats, with an on-base percentage of .291. In his limited role with the team, Iglesias has 21 RBIs but no home runs, and his slugging percentage is .257.

Randy Arozarena contributed with one hit.

The Mariners suffered a tough 6-5 defeat in 10 innings to the Yankees on Thursday, with Randy Arozarena going 1-for-4 and scoring a run. Arozarena has shown remarkable form over the past 30 games, hitting .301/.382/.593 with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases. His OPS stands at .800 this season, and with his 15 home runs, he is on track to surpass the 20-home run mark for the fifth consecutive season.

Raisel Iglesias and Daysbel Hernández did not allow any runs against the A's.

On Thursday, Raisel Iglesias and Daysbel Hernández pitched consecutively in the Braves' 5-4 defeat to the A's. Daysbel delivered a flawless eighth inning in a 4-4 tie, striking out one batter. Iglesias mirrored this performance in the ninth inning. This marked Daysbel's seventh straight scoreless appearance since May 29, when Boston scored against him. Iglesias, on the other hand, has revitalized his season, achieving 10 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings with his Thursday performance, although he might be a potential trade asset for the Braves before the July 31 trade deadline.

Yoán Moncada and Jorge Soler combined for two hits on Thursday.

In Thursday's 11-4 defeat against the Rangers, Jorge Soler and Yoán Moncada collectively achieved two hits. Soler was 1-for-2, scoring a run, with a walk and a strikeout, while Moncada was 1-for-3, also with a walk and a strikeout. Both players have faced injuries this year that sidelined them, with Soler experiencing a below-average season, tallying just 10 home runs and 31 RBIs in 76 games. Similarly, Moncada has recorded only 6 home runs and 19 RBIs, but in just 33 games.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went hitless on Thursday.

During a 4-3 defeat to the Padres, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. failed to get a hit in four at-bats. This marked his second hitless game in the last three, reducing his stats to .297/.350/.568 for July. Gurriel is expected to enhance all his statistics in the season's second half, after a first half where he recorded a .255/.302/.431 batting line, with 12 home runs, 47 RBIs, and only 51 strikeouts over 87 games and 371 plate appearances.

Yandy Díaz recorded one hit.

The Rays narrowly lost 4-3 to Boston on Thursday, with Yandy Díaz going 1-for-4 as the leadoff and designated hitter. This marked Yandy's fifth straight game with a hit in July, during which he's slashing .250/.300/.389, following an outstanding June where he slashed .400/.469/.610 with five home runs and 13 RBIs. This year, Yandy has already hit 14 home runs, matching his total from 2024, and is on track to surpass his career highs of 22 home runs and 78 RBIs from 2023.
