Adolis García crushed a grand slam as part of a five-run uprising in the ninth inning on Sunday night as the Rangers routed the Astros 9-2 in Game 6 of the ALCS.

The Rangers entered the ninth inning nursing a two-run lead, but that all changed after Corey Seager was plunked with the bases loaded and then García tagged Ryne Stanek for a 375-foot (110.1 mph EV) grand slam that put the game well out of reach. The 30-year-old slugger had whiffed in each of his first four plate appearances in the ballgame — including against Bryan Abreu in the eighth inning. For the postseason, García is hitting .277 (13-for-47) with five homers and a whopping 15 RBI.

Yordan Álvarez singled twice and drove in a run on Sunday as the Astros fell to the Rangers in Game 6 of the ALCS in Houston.

Álvarez opened the scoring in the first inning as he lined a cutter from Nathan Eovaldi for a single into center field to plate José Altuve. The 26-year-old superstar also led off the sixth inning with a single and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Mauricio Dubón. He also walked and struck out in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-3. He’s having a postseason for the ages — hitting .436 (17-for-39) with six homers, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored.

José Abreu went 2-for-4 on Sunday night as the Rangers triumphed over the Astros in Game 6 of the ALCS.

The 36-year-old first baseman singled on a ground ball to right field of Nathan Eovaldi in the sixth inning, then single on a line drive to left fielder Evan Carter in the eighth. This was Abreu's first multi hit game in the ALCS. With his two-hit attack he’s hitting .282 (11-for-39)/.349/.615 with four homers, twelve RBI and one stolen base during the postseason.
