Aroldis Chapman credited with win Friday.

Aroldis Chapman (4-2) secured the win on Friday, striking out one in a flawless ninth inning during a 2-1 victory over the Marlins. The seasoned closer used 11 pitches (nine strikes) to efficiently handle the bottom of Miami's lineup in the top of the ninth, paving the way for the win when Trevor Story delivered a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the inning. Chapman hasn't allowed a run since July 23, and since the start of June, he boasts an impressive 0.38 ERA, 0.46 WHIP, and a 35:5 K:BB ratio over 23.2 innings, achieving one win, three holds, and 13 saves in 14 opportunities.

Yandy Díaz records two RBIs on Friday.

Yandy Díaz had a 2-for-5 performance in Friday's 7-6 victory over the Giants. He drove in two RBIs, bringing his total to 69 and tying Andy Pagés for the most among Cuban players this season. In the ninth inning, his second RBI brought in the winning run for the Rays. Primarily serving as a DH this year - has participated in 93 games in this role -, Yandy boasts an OPS of .806, with 20 home runs, 59 runs scored, and leads all Cuban players in hits with 130.

Raisel Iglesias perfect in securing his 18th save.

Raisel Iglesias earned the save on Friday against Atlanta by delivering a flawless ninth inning, striking out one batter. Tasked with preserving a two-run advantage, Iglesias successfully silenced the heart of the Guardians lineup, securing both the shutout win and his 18th save of the season. The experienced closer has now maintained a scoreless streak over 11 consecutive appearances and has brought consistency to the back of Atlanta's bullpen, successfully converting his last seven save opportunities. Over 50 2/3 innings this season, he holds a 4.09 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 55:10 K:BB ratio.

Miguel Vargas achieves a game with multiple hits.

In Friday's 3-1 defeat against the Royals, Miguel Vargas achieved two hits in four at-bats. This marked his second multi-hit game in August and his first since returning from a 10-day stint on the injured list. Vargas is experiencing a challenging season, posting a .228/.306/.397 slash line with 13 home runs, 58 runs, 44 RBIs, and an OPS of .703.

Randy Arozarena secures his 24th stolen base.

Randy Arozarena went 2-for-6 with two runs scored, a strikeout, and a stolen base in Friday's 11-9 victory over the Mets. Despite leaving three runners in scoring position, Arozarena managed to steal his 24th base of the year. He initially aimed for a 25/25 season, but he still has a chance to achieve a 30/30 year if his power production increases. After Friday's game, he has 23 home runs and 24 stolen bases.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hits his 23rd double of the season.

On Friday, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 1-for-4, scored a run, and hit his 23rd double of the season. This occurred in the D-backs' 4-3 loss to the Rockies. Gurriel Jr. has faced challenges this season, posting a .244/.294/.407 slash line with 15 home runs and 62 RBIs over 113 games.

Yanquiel Fernández recorded one RBI.

Yanquiel Fernández went 0-for-3 during the Rockies' 4-3 victory over the D-backs on Friday. However, his groundout in the fourth inning brought in the Rockies' third run, breaking a 2-2 tie. The Rockies maintained their lead from that point on. Since making his MLB debut on July 1st, Yanquiel has appeared in just 25 games, posting a .229/.250/.300 slash line with one home run and 5 RBIs. At 22 years old, he is expected to receive more opportunities in the future.

Andy Pagés did not get any hits on Friday.

Andy Pagés went 0-for-2 with a strikeout and a walk in Friday's game against the Padres. The Dodgers defeated the Padres 3-2, tying for the top spot in the National League West. Pagés played in both center and right fields, extending his hitless streak to seven consecutive at-bats over the last three games. Despite this, he is still having an impressive season, with 19 home runs and 69 RBIs for the defending World Series champions.

Yariel Rodríguez's impeccable performance.

In the Blue Jays' 6-5 victory over the Rangers, Yariel Rodríguez pitched a scoreless inning, striking out two batters. This performance improved his reputation following two consecutive outings where he gave up a total of 5 earned runs in just one inning. He currently has a 3.16 ERA over 50 games and 57 innings, with a 52:23 strikeout-to-walk ratio this year.

Edgar Quero had one hit, while Luis Robert Jr. went hitless.

Edgar Quero went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout on Friday, as the White Sox lost 3-1 to the Royals. In that game, Luis Robert Jr. went 0-for-4. The 22-year-old Quero is having a strong season in a limited role, playing just 77 games and achieving a .272/.341/.376 slash line with 14 doubles, 4 home runs, and 29 RBIs. In contrast, Luis Robert has been underwhelming this year, managing 31 stolen bases but posting a .218/.298/.353 slash line with 12 home runs and 47 RBIs over 101 games.

Yoán Moncada achieved a multi-hit game.

Yoán Moncada had a 2-for-4 performance during the Angels' 10-3 defeat against the A's on Friday. He scored a run and drew a walk. This performance improved Moncada's slash line to .239/.332/.448 over 54 games. He appears to be seeing the ball more clearly, hitting .412 (7-for-17) with 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored in his last 7 games.
